For Vero, there are a couple of steps you have to take in Vero before submitting the zip file. Follow the steps in order to make sure the balances are updated accordingly.
Be aware around limitations around the opening balances in Vero
The limitations around opening balances are described in the conversion limitations of Vero. You can find that article here.
Finalize all transactions
For every financial year, you have to finalize the transactions otherwise they will not be included in the conversion. To do this, go to Periodiek > Doorboeken > Alg. doorboeking. Check all boxes (Verkopen, Financieel, Aankopen and Diversen). Check Onmiddellijk and after that Start.
Recalculate account balances
You have to recalculate the transactional history for every year in the conversion. Go to Utilities > Controleprogramma's > Historiek - Balans. For every year, recalculate the balances for the 'Algemene rekeningen'.
Recalculate customer and supplier balances
For customers and suppliers, the outstanding balances also have to be aligned. Go to Utilities > Controleprogramma's > Heropbouwen saldo's. Check both the boxes for customers and suppliers and recalculate the balances.
Create a dump and zip the dump file
Make sure your dump is correct, try loading it back into Vero to make sure it is complete. Zip the folder with the .d files and the Dump-report.log file. Every company file, should have one zip file.
